Shama Cycles started a relationship with Guru several years ago, working with them as they grew. We discovered the importance of a perfectly fitted bike frame, custom built for the individual cyclist. We were instantly hooked on the experience! Their build quality, consistency, craftsmanship and technology make them the leading custom bike frame manufacturer. The Canadian company makes everything in-house, including their own carbon tubing for each frame. Guru's tag line suits their mission, which is building bikes that give their riders "Performance Through Custom."

KirkLee

Our underdog brand. KirkLee is a lot like Shama Cycles - small shop making its way in the world of mega companies. KirkLee frames are hand-made in Austin, Texas by Brad Cason in his two car garage-turned-frame production/clean room/oven/paint booth. Sound crazy? Not it you know Austin and not really if you saw the inside of his garage. Proof of quality and clean work can be seen in Philip's own KirkLee (and favorite criterium bike), with its clear coat over raw carbon.

Time

The only non-custom frame (yet) that we carry. Time is the last of great European frames that are still completely hand-made in their own factory. Old world craftsmanship with cutting edge technology makes. this road frame special. This French company is unique as they are the only brand able to weave their own carbon tubing.

Independent Fabrication

Indpendent Fabrication [IF] or some folks call it "Indy Fab," is a classic name in the custom bike industry. IF is well known for their masterful metal frames in road, cross and singl e speed. Steel, titanium and stainless steel...they can produce metal nostalgia better than anyone else. IF is also notorious for it s legendary paintwork and attention to detail.  Each frame is hand-built to order and shipped out of its Somerville, Massachusetts shop. Current IF models include the carbon and titanium XS road and Steel Planet cyclocross frame.
